Malicious software employs a variety of techniques to hinder the cyber security analyst. This presentation provides an overview of a selection of techniques and how the use of these techniques can be detected and mitigated.
Murray Brand has had over 20 years experience in Defence, Defence Industry and Academia in Software Engineering and Security. His PhD research was in the analysis avoidance techniques of malicious software. Murray's current lecturing and research interests are in Digital Forensics, anti Forensics and Network Security.
